Goodbye Alice in Wonderland

The new season of American Idol started today. Ouch. There are some horrible singers on there, and what I don't understand is they just don't learn. People go in there knowing that the judges are jerks and then are so surprised when the judges are what they have shown themselves to be. I just don't get it. Silly people.

Watching the show I have decided that a guy should never sing my heart will go on. Especially when they can't sing. At all. Yet somehow, I get a weird sort of joy watching these people making fools of themselves. I guess that is why the show first hit it off, people love to laugh at people making fools of themselves. I don't think I would ever be able to do that though. I tend to avoid complete mortification, especially in front of millions of people.

Blah.

Back again

Life has continued in it's normal slow pace. Days come and go, filled with mostly the same stuff as the day before. Not to much to report on the home front. We just had another one of our Sunday get-togethers. Very nice. The food was good, as always, and I am sure everyone went back for seconds. The food was thanks to Bern, my mom and Jael. Contrary to the norm, we held our get together at Jael's, it was a nice change.

Later on in the evening, we watched M. Night Shamylan's Lady in the Water. It is an okay movie, my only problem with it is that there is not really a climax to it, it seems to stay at the same level. Jase and Jael said that his prior movies were much better, and had way more surprising endings, which is good, I suppose.

Time to sign off now and go to bed.

G'night!!

Hey-lo

Hello. It is I, Dakota. Yes, I know, I am not technically the middle kid, as Jason so kindly pointed out, but whatever, close enough, right?

I am celebrating my new computer (all thanks go to jason) by starting a blog, as all of my family members (except for dill pickle and jase, come on guys, join the bandwagon!) have started one lately.

So, Yippee, break out the champagne (okay, bubbly apple juice) and celebrate along with me!
